This Radio Warranty applies to Barricade Audio radio kits purchased from Reversion Raceworks, including related adapter kits, displays, harnesses, and electrical components, unless otherwise stated on the product page.
1. Warranty Period
Radio kits are covered by a 1-year limited warranty from the original purchase date.
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable.
2. What Is Covered
This warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship under normal intended use.
Warranty coverage may include, at Reversion Raceworks’ discretion:
- Troubleshooting support
- Replacement components
- Repair
- Store credit
- Partial refund
- Full replacement when appropriate
3. What Is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover damage or failure caused by:
- Incorrect installation
- Incorrect wiring
- Poor ground connections
- Short circuits
- Reverse polarity
- Incorrect power source
- Vehicle-side wiring issues
- Blown fuses caused by installation errors
- Modification of the radio, harness, housing, wiring, or software
- Water damage, moisture damage, excessive heat, chemical exposure, impact damage, or abuse
- Damage caused by other aftermarket electronics
- Installation in a vehicle or application not intended for the product
- Normal wear and tear
- Cosmetic damage after installation
- Customer-installed software, apps, firmware changes, settings changes, or configuration issues
4. Installation Responsibility
Radio kits and electrical components must be installed correctly. The customer is responsible for verifying fitment, wiring, power, ground, fuse condition, and vehicle-side compatibility before installation.
We strongly recommend professional installation if the customer is not comfortable with vehicle wiring or electrical troubleshooting.
Damage caused by improper installation is not covered under warranty.
5. Returns on Electrical Products
Electrical products that have been installed, powered, modified, or damaged are generally not eligible for return unless approved by Reversion Raceworks.
If a product is defective out of the box, please contact us before installation or modification.
6. International Radio Orders
Radio kits shipped internationally are only eligible for warranty coverage if the customer agrees to cover all related shipping costs, duties, tariffs, taxes, brokerage fees, customs fees, and any other import/export costs required to complete the warranty process.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Shipping the product or component back to Reversion Raceworks, if required
- Shipping replacement parts or replacement products to the customer
- Import duties
- Export duties
- Tariffs
- VAT
- Brokerage fees
- Customs clearance fees
- Carrier fees
- Any other government, customs, or carrier-imposed charges
If the international customer does not agree to cover these costs, the order is not eligible for warranty coverage.
International radio orders are otherwise sold without warranty coverage unless Reversion Raceworks approves an exception in writing.
7. Warranty Claim Process
To start a warranty claim, contact us with:
- Order number
- Name and contact information
- Description of the issue
- Photos of the installation
- Photos of wiring and connections, if applicable
- Video showing the issue, if applicable
- Any troubleshooting steps already performed
We may request additional information before approving a warranty claim.
8. Warranty Remedies
If a warranty claim is approved, Reversion Raceworks may choose to repair, replace, provide parts, provide store credit, issue a partial refund, or issue another reasonable resolution.
Warranty coverage does not include labor, installation costs, removal costs, diagnostic charges, shipping costs unless approved, vehicle downtime, lost income, towing, or incidental/consequential damages.
For international radio orders, any warranty remedy is subject to the customer covering all required shipping, duties, tariffs, taxes, brokerage fees, customs fees, and related costs.
9. Software, Features & Compatibility
Radio features may vary based on vehicle wiring, device compatibility, app updates, phone settings, software versions, and third-party services such as Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, maps, streaming apps, or other connected features.
Reversion Raceworks is not responsible for changes made by third-party software providers, phone manufacturers, app developers, or operating system updates.
